"Yeah, but if you grow it and share with me, I don't have to do any of the work," she points out with a grin, leaning closer to get a look at what he's doing. She feels weirdly relieved, kind of giddy in a way, and she wraps her arms around herself, still smiling.

"God, don't even talk about money," she says, rolling her eyes. "A part time salary isn't exactly great for going to school and taking care of a kid." She has Jesse's money, but she's made sure to keep that for Clementine, set aside in an account for her.
